Root (Update) Ics Theme 5.0! Almost fully themed!

Ok guys, Here is ICS 5.... I had a lot of trouble with this so make sure you make a backup before you flash this. I finally got it working right on my phone but make a backup just in case. This is probably the best I can do with my very limited knowledge but at least we have a mostly themed phone now and all colors are ICS and NOT Cyanogen. I wish I could do better for you but I am still learning by myself. The only thing I could not get working is the font. for some reason it wont take so you will have to use an app to change the font to what you like. I was thinking about doing this in other colors and maybe making an htc version with orange or something. Give me some suggestions. I hope you like.. And make sure to give me some Ideas for my next project!!!

Sorry guys for yet another theme thread. I didnt know whether to post this to someone elses thread or not. I wish there was a "post all themes here thread." Anyway here is my first try at the kitchen and i tried to make everyone a good ICS theme since it seems to be the most asked for. I am not a dev at all and I know this is not a REAL theme. It was just something fun to do and all the work was done for me I just picked a few colors to try to make it as close to ICS as possible (so dont kick me in the twig and berries too hard Mystery) lol! anyway let me know what ya think and what i can do to improve it.

Thanks bro. gonna redo it and fix lockscreen tho its horrible. but I figured with things like golocker and other lockscreen apps wouldn't really matter.

I get what you mean, though honestly I'd prefer someone to change it and make it decent looking. I hate the ICS Go Locker themes.

@op just tried it. Doesn't work with 2.3.6, since they have diff frameworks and system uis. I mean the text comes out weird etc.
If you want to, here is the ORIGINAL 2.3.6 framework res and systemui so u can werk it out a bit ya know

lol so I take it when I redo this I should not make the scroll bar blue? Anybody got any other dislikes that I can fix? I want to make this one of the best out there if I can. but only so much you can do with the kitchen and I have no idea how to do true theming like the devs do or even where to start. wish I did tho. but when I redo it I will change the scroll bar if everyone thinks it will look better. For me the blue scrollbar makes my scrolling laggy and it's interuptive too since its the brightest thing, especially since gingerbread is all brack

Hey, so would i have to make a separate one for 2.3.6? Or can people on 2.3.4 use it too if i use the framework and sestemui from 2.3.6? lol like i said I know nothing about this but would love to start learning. Thank you for the files by the way. I appreciate the help

They are different files, guessing you have 2.3.4 ,make the same theme just like the one you did. Then redo it for 2.3.6,.same thing,.except this time you use my framework apk and systemui that I uploaded. Name one rar 2.3.4 for 2.3.4 and u get it.

I personally prefer the blue scroll bar. It adds to the look of my phone which everything is black and Blue

lol nice work, better than mine other than the battery. i don't like the circle but it looks great with ics launcher and ics lock screen HD, changed my messaging and music apps by renaming the stock ones in astro so they dont show up and installing google music & ics messaging. friends couldn't even tell the difference XD

yeah I am thinking about changing the battery back to normal and keeping everything else the same. I just realized I am not a big fan of the circle battery either lol. it should be up by morning at latest if you want to check back for the update. but hey thanks for the compliment!

Very good job with this new one Paris. Other than the battery you already mentioned, it, in my opinion, is perfect.

No, typically you have to use an ICS Launcher, there are quite a few.

This is the exact same thing as ICS 2.0 accept as per request i changed the battery back to normal. I hope everyone enjoys. Let me know what I can do to make it better. Also if anyone has any requests for different themes let me know and I will do my best!

no unfortunately i cant do icons in the kitchen. but i use go launcher ex and the icons come from the steel blue theme. it looks nice with the ics colors

Ok guys, Here is ICS 4.0 I had to change some things and make the color a little more like cyanogen color to match everything that is themed. I can not take credit for any images accept for what i did in the kitchen. Every image and themed part of this is credited to Dont Panic over at xda (he does an amazing job by the way)!... I found a program on the market and used it to bring parts of his theme over and add it to what i did in the kitchen so we could have a mostly themed rom. The only thing i can take credit for is what i did in the kitchen and the hours ive spent staring into this laptop until my eyes bleed trying to figure out a way to do this. Screenshots below so you can see all that is themed. I hope you guys like it. it is the best I can do til i can find some help on how to do the images on my own. I will be posting more colors soon for those who dont like the cyan blue. Anyway comments and suggestions always welcome! Enjoy!

I am actually working right now on re-coloring every single image in photoshop right now to make it the true ics color. Iwill try to have 5.0 out tomorrow with everything ics colored so keep checking back. I agree with you ive never liked cyanogen color. There are soooo many files to change. I never realized how much work devs and themers actually do. I have a new respect for them.
