Looks like the update can be done at the Sprint Store on my way to do it now. First back to DI18 lol

Update can also be done through Odin using the files provided by Release: Bonsai v4.0 for Samsung Epic 4G based on Sprint EC05 ROM | Bonsai for Android

Hmmm.... both methods resulted in a soft brick for me.... might be wise to avoid them!

ok the tech in the sprint store really has no clue. He is trying to force the OTA the stores do not have the file.....what a waste of lunch hour. Oh well.

Sorry for being such a newb but how do I get Odin to load this update on my Epic 4G? Is this going to be the same thing as the OTA update that just came out?

After looking into it more there isn't an Odin version yet. The only version out, the one linked, is a custom EXT4 ROM based on a leaked version of the update.
