Hi
I've been running Leedroid 3.0.8.2 and wondering if its time to upgrade? Bene having some small issues with messages and phone seems to be slower than usual.

Android version: 2.3.3
Kernel version: 2.6.35.10-g308ba26
Software Number: LeeDroid 3.0.8.3
Browser version: WebKit/533.1

Any advice gratefully received.

Well there's no up-to-date leedroid per se. Leedroid dropped the desire many months ago. There may be newer than yours, but you'd have to dig out the thread on xda.

I am running leedroid 3.33hd I think it is. I only tried it because I traded my girlfriends galaxy s for an HTC desire locally and he had.leedroid on it. I hadn't used sense other than for a few weeks before I rooted. I was actually impressed and switched to it. He had a few eons on the SD card and.I tried runnymede mod of some kind first and ditches it when it.locked up while setting it up. Way too slow and I assume all sense 3.0 are probably. Coming from oxygen, redx, cm7 etc leedroid is a bit slower but not too bad. Some of the widgets and features are worth it to me. I would try upgrading to this version if you want sense. If you are tired of it and want something fast and basic try oxygen or dgb.

Yes, the latest version of Leedroid available for the Desire is Leedroid HD 3.3.3 R5. I upgraded myself from 3.0.7 a couple of weeks ago, only because I hadn't been aware for all that time that there was anything newer! I'd definitely recommend it - I had the A2SD+ version of 3.0.7 installed and had run out of space, making my phone virtually unusable. I'm now on the Data++ version of 3.3.3 R5 and it's been great - the phone seems to be faster and more responsive than ever before (this is with the Sense 3.0 widget pack installed), battery life and stability are just as good and you can still customize the ROM with UOT Kitchen. All this with 170 MB of space still free :)

They are different though from memory. 3.0.x roms are Desire/N1 based whereas 3.3.x roms are ports from the Desire HD so may bring their own issues.

Lee has promised a final 3.0.x build for a few months now but I wouldn't hold your breath. He has at least another 3 devices that he is building for that are all taking his time now. I'd move on to another dev's rom if you want somethinng more up to date.
