Update Message?

I just got a text message from AT&T, number 1111-487-603 say, AT&T is providing a free update to your phone. When asked to install the update, please select OK, thank you.

I have been on cracked 2.2 for a while...is this an OLD update that finally got put through? Or is this something NEW???

Yeah a few weeks back a ton of rooted users were getting the same message, it's been highly discussed already, their is no update.

Thanks btswein. Weird that I would get an update text that was a big discussion like a month or so ago...
