Help Update not looking different

I have received 2 android updates in 2 weeks for my s7 edge. Notifications and pull down screen and other things are supposed to look different. I installed both updates including the one last night and still nothing.....no new look at all. Everything is the same. Why? Are there more updates coming that will give me.the new features and look?

What version are you on now, and who is the carrier?
You mention that some things should look different....I would assume that others on the same device and android version/carrier mention such changes?

Maybe it was just a security update (or two that were backlogged)?

I think it's normal, sometimes the manufacturer rebuild the user interface of the new OS to match their standard before releasing the new update.

My LG G4 Note has been updated to Marshmallow from Lollipop, everything remains almost identical, my wife uses that phone from time to time and she doesn't even notice the change.
