Update or Not

Hi all.

With all the threads about bugs on 2.3 Gingerbread I'm wondering,
should I/we update?

I'm on VF AU and tho the update is not currently available will any of the bugs
be fixed once VF AU release it?

I doubt whether or not they'll fix the bugs TBH. They're still rolling it out to all unbranded handsets in the UK and I'd say given the comments on their facebook page, they're aware of the problems it's causing.

It's hard to say whether or not the majority of updates are buggy as it tends to be those with issues who are the most vocal.
 
The 2.3.3 update in Asia looks OK. Tested all functions like WiFi, GPS, etc and working perfectly since OTA made available to us this week Monday. Perhaps Asia's later release have fixed the bugs
 
No problems here either. Its only a few unlucky people who have problems, so I recommend you walk around your high street looking for a penny on the floor, and when you find it, that is the day to update. Everything will be fine
