Help Update over Wifi?

I am waiting for my replacement Droid X to arrive (not till Friday or whatever) and I was thinking that maybe the update would fix my slowness? I have already switched back to my old phone but I'm wondering is there a way I can get the update over Wifi so I don't have to put the Droid X back onto my line? If it fixes the issues, I would of course put it back on my line and use it but I want to try the update first.. Any help?
 
OTA updates are sent out by VZW to specific phones in their database. If your phone is not in their database then there's no way for VZW to send you the update. Sorry!
