J jamjar Lurker Oct 30, 2010 #1 Hi. I've heard/seen that there is a minor update for the mini-pro that allows you charge the phone when powered off. I don't seem to have received this? - is there anyway of knowing what firmware version my phone should be to have this minor update installed? Cheers. JJ.

Click to expand... go to Settings/About phone scroll down to the last entry that says Build number 1.2.A.1.174 that's the latest and yes, charging w the phone off is possible. but Eclair's just around the corner, more improvements coming up...

J jamjar Lurker Nov 1, 2010 #3 Cheers. I'm at build number 1.1.A.0.8? When I check for updates on the phone using 'update now' it says there's an update available and that I need to 'use my computer' to update the phone. I have the latest version of SUSE installed but when I connect it says I'm up to date? Confused JJ

I ison_machine Member Nov 1, 2010 #4 i have the same case too. maybe that update is not applicable for some carriers. they rather wait for the 2.1 update.
