Help update to 2.2, now have alarm from hell

Since updating to 2.2 yesterday my alarm has gone mad! Cant shut it off after it goes off unless i power down the phone or pull the battery. Any ideas, tricks to stop this?

I downloaded Alarm Clock PlusV2? - Android app on AppBrain its a copy of the original alarm plus a few added features. maybe just use this one instead?

This happened to me this morning, but Im on 2.1

The alarm was going off and there was nothing I could do to stop it. I opened up the alarm app, disabled the alarms, and nothing. Eventually had to just shut it down.

I had the same problem when I was running widget locker. Had to stop using it.

I've had this problem with the HTC alarm (before I installed WidgetLocker, never since) and I had to use SystemPanel to kill the alarm.

It hasn't happened in a long time though.
