Help Update to 4.3 and Kies 3

Yesterday I updated my G3 to 4.3 and everything went OK.

Then this morning I updated to Kies 3 and again no problems.

The dreaded moment came for me to connect to Kies and make sure everything was OK. Connection was fine but all I see is Music/Photos/Videos with no Contacts listed although they appear on my phone.

Maybe I've done something wrong ( usually is ) ?
Can anyone help.

AFAIK contacts are not supported as yet in Kies 3. They were in Kies 2 - but 4.3 doesn't seem to work properly on the previous version. Googled the question and it seems like a common complaint - with a solution of using a 3rd party app.

Id just make sure your contacts are sync'd with google, mate.
Then you have no worries :thumbup:

Its almost like samsung want their phones to be fully self-contained devices.... surely not *bit of sarcasm*

Samsung probably think that if you can master Kies then you can cope with TouchWiz! Phil
