Help update using odin

Does anybody out there know of an update using odin on a galaxy s vibrant t959? Trying to go from 2.1 to 2.2 or higher. The only thing I could find was for a I9000 that wont work for a t959.

why using odin? try to update it via kies mini

When i try to use kies it sees the phone but it wont update it. From what I've been reading online a lot of people are having the same problem with kies.

i see. well i had the same problem and the only way to fix it is to send it back to Samsung to Texas... if you dont want to do it here you go
