Root Update ZVE firmware

Whats the easiest was to update our LG ESTEEM to the ZVE firmware? We are trying to do it manually. Does anybody have the update so we can just flash it via "download" trough recovery???

the only way i know of is to go to the lg.com website and download the update tool,but i still was told to go to metro for them to update/install something,they never told what, but i saw my phone plugged into a machine for almost ahour,i dont think you can flash it,unless someone has been able to get both of them.and then if they did have it,id believe there would be more roms and things out if im not mistaken

what does it say when you try,and do you have the updated drivers installed too,and restart the comp and then try it all over again,i know my comp,windows vista worked fine,and when i even try to do it rooted it tells me i have the latest firmware

I get a box popup and this is what it says

"Checking for New LGMobile update program. Please wait for application to load"

and thats all it does it come and it goes but nothing else happens. grrrrr

im trying to help,are u rooted? i cant recall who said it,but they said it will unroot you,now that i allready unrooted when i was on zvd,then i updated to zve and rerooted,i have tried running it again while i was rooted on zve and it didnt unroot,it tells me im updated with the latest firmware,so if you are rooted on zvd it might unroot u,or you might have to unroot to up date,the whole update seems to have been a pain,but im trying to do my best for ya!!!!

i used the aio root,that should be on the same link i sent you,or you can use the zvc root i believe gbiggie said works
