Help Update!

So I did a hardreset on my phone because HTC Sense was messing up and my phone is quite laggy again, and my Market doesn't have the option for auto update anymore. I already try to update my phone, but it keeps saying that my phone is already up to date. I was thinking if I could redownload that update for the laggy dialer and the one for the market! Thanks in advance!

You can try re flashing the .7 build, not sure it will make a difference, rooting is an option

I don't know how to root! I'm still scared to do it, cuz everything is so confusing, plus I have a Mac, not a Windows PC! =/ Plus I don't think I'm able to root anymore because before doing the hard reset, I already downloaded the updates that would block rooting!
