It's not happening to me, but apparently it's happening to a lot of people. Sounds like a problem with their app, because I see complaints from Hero, Nexus, etc.

Here's the previous version of the Facebook APK (v1.1.4) if you need to reinstall it:

Facebook_1.1.4.apk

I backed it up before installing today's update (today's is v1.2).

update should be fine now, Facebook knew about the issue and was giving updates on the Android for Facebook site and said it was fixed.

o misread that, yeah under market and it should be under downloads.. unless ur running 2.1 then u will need to search and download facebook app since its native in 2.1

If you only got one update, go to your apps and check for a second update. The second one seems to fix it.

Same my facebook app after update will only force close now. I just deleted it. I will redownload it later when they update it again.

Wow, you sound impossible to please. I have no idea why you would think that it "sucks". Any specifics? It works great for me!

I don't think it sucks, but it definitely lacks features. Supposedly, there is somebody working on an iPhone port, but that's just something I heard.

I had a different problem with the update. It would download, but that's it... it never went through the "install" process. I ended up having to uninstall, then reinstall, and it worked fine. Weird...
