Update

We going to be enjoying any of the features of the new note 10.1? Anybody heard anything about an update coming or way?

I do not think they will update us to 4.3 until a few months from releasing the new vversion with 4.3.

You got what it said - 4.1.2. There are multiple versions of 4.1.2 and sometimes you get an update from 4.1.2 to 4.1.2 with only minor bug fixes.

It already works, just the same as with S4. Gear Uses BT Smart Ready and I can use my Smart Ready Fitbit One with Note 10.1 and Gear will work just as well. Same for S4, works with Fitbit One.

I thought it had something to do with the secure connection in bt le - the way the android 4.3 can handle it and Gear will only be paired with android 4.3 devices. Im not sure...

It pairs and basic operations can be done on S4, I am pretty sure the same will be possible with Note 10.1. We will not have 4.3 until December, I think.

I got an email today from Samsung, and they said that Gear wont work with Note 10.1 (gt-n8000) until it get Android 4.3 and they didnt know when this will happen. So I think im going to buy SW2 then for a xmas gift for myself ( or maybe after xmas from sale, lol)
