Updated.[Tested] HTC One SV 2500? Battery

Thanks but he is only the seller not the manufacturer, and the label in the pic says 60Hz in the meantime i ordered this one. ( i will message to ask anyway)

Just curious if you use any battery apps like Juice Defender or if that's the raw battery? Even if you are though, that's still impressive!

Any chance of those pics I wondered if it said 50Hz on the back. If you are using this are you in the US or Europe?

The seller said it is UK compatible and if sending to EU or Uk would send the correct plug adaptor with the charger.
 
I went to order this battery and charger today, but I stopped myself as soon as I saw the shipping costs.
I refuse to pay $30 shipping for a $15 item and have to wait about a month for it.
But hey, that's just me.
 
Oh wow, I didn't see that. Good catch! That seems exceptionally steep shipping for just an envelope. Keeping this battery on the back of my mind. I currently don't really need the extra capacity, so I'm in no rush.

Look around on Ebay for the same battery. They are easy to spot because of it color. Hopefully you'll find one w/ free shipping. :D

Hi all,

I just wanted to pass on a little info about a battery and charger that I found on Ebay. The battery is listed as a 2500mAh battery and can be purchased with a wall charger.

I have had the battery for about a week now and I am pleased with it so far. At 1st the battery didn't seem to be any better than the stock battery but after a few charging cycles it seems to be holding a charge much longer than the original stock battery. As you can see in the screenshot below, It was almost at 15 hrs with 49% charge left. That's not bad at all!

I cannot say for sure if this battery is actually a TRUE 2500 mAh but it is def. holding a charge longer than stock.

I have been on the fence to make the switch from my ZTE warp sequent to the htc one sv, but have wondered about the phones advertised stock battery life of 17 hours. What would you say the sv one gets with the stock battery with average use?

Greedy is putting it lightly. I'm not a cheap person. I have been know to spend good money on good quality products that i want, and to tip waaaay too much. Ask my wife, LOL!
But $30 shipping for a $15 item is just ludicrous to me. Its the principle.
 
If you get a moment, try installing Battery Monitor Widget. I did and it recognized my battery and properly identified it's capacity at 1800 Mah, or at least I think it did. Try it with the extended battery please :D
 
If owned the Zte sequent and the Zte Force both seemed to have better battery life then this phone.

Did you mean you did own the ZTE or did you mean to say IF you did? I owned an HTC tp2 and rooted it to run Android 2.2 but the charging port wore out and wouldn't charge...my buddy had the same problem with another htc phone. I've read a couple posts on the same problem with the One SV which has been what had kept me from making the switch.

OK, I'll give it a try. These apps go buy what the phone tells them. That's why there is a place in the app to go in and manually set what the battery is supposed to be.

From the stats I've posted with this battery and the one that came with the phone, there is a huge difference in battery life.


Just a heads up though. UNTIL THE SELLER DROPS HIS INSANE SHIPPING PRICES, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BATTERY TO ANYONE!!!


I will say this though. I sent the seller a message stating that I didn't think the battery was a true 2500mAh battery and he gave me a $8 refund. That was alright by me. The battery holds a better charge than the stock one but i still don't think it's a true 2500mAh battery.

I just wrote the seller again and let him know that all of the people who were interested in his product won't be buying it since he has changed his shipping prices to an insane amount.

Guys, do yourself a favor and don't buy this battery until he drops his shipping prices. The battery just isn't worth it. The battery isn't a true 2500mAh either. It holds a good charge but nowhere near what a true 2500mAh battery should hold.

If he would have left well enough alone and kept his shipping reasonable, I would recommend the product but not now. There are many other sellers on Ebay who offer decent products with free shipping. I advise checking with them.

It sux that the seller went and did this. I guess that's what happens when you get greedy! :mad::mad::mad:
 
I think the point here is if you are in the US and want one of these get it from the above seller mentioned by Piratexi but if in Europe get the one in the original post as this is still free shipping.
