Help Updated to 4.4.2...Call Log auto opens

I recently updated my Note 3 to Kit Kat 4.4.2. Had no major issues with it, just had to restart the phone and all was fixed. The last 3 days ill be on facebook or a different app and the screen will automatically switch to the Call Log. I closed out every app and would go to one app and it would do it again. It also happens when I unlock my phone or open the S View case. Any ideas? I cant seem to find anything online about this.

Air Gesture is also turned off.

Any help, ideas or thoughts would be amazing. Thanks all!
 
Maybe you have or it did it without you knowing, the screen, when you touch it in a sertian way that the phone opens it up. I can't remember how to set it, but there is a way to set the screen to do things when you swipe from left to right or any other way. I think it's called gestures. Try looking into that.

Ok it's not gestures. I have them disabled. And a gesture for opening the call log is not an option as far as i can see.

Name the other applications that you would be using to make the phone switch to the call log.
 
I have the same problem and it's driving me nuts. I have a new S5. I couldn't find anything about a call log gesture in the setting and I can't seem to find a pattern as to when the call log comes up by itself. It almost seems random... sometimes it happens when I pick up the phone or open the cover, other times it happens when I'm browsing the internet or on facebook. There must be a pattern, I just haven't found it yet. But it's driving me nuts, I want it to stop. Please post a solution when you find one.

Hey, the same thing started happening to me since I paired my S4 with my Gear 2 Neo. By chance you too have the Galaxy Gear?
 
The same thing is happening to me! Galaxy note 2 paired with a gear 2, it's driving me insane! Please post a fix if you find it, I've been looking, haven't found anything....
 
Until they find a fix would an app like on call end work for you...I know you are not placing or receiving a call but your phone/watch thinks you are somehow...might work til they get a fix.
 
I believe I have figured out the issue what's causing the phone or call log to open up randomly there is an option in therror gear manager under notifications call Smart Relay in check that and the problem should be solved.

THANK YOU!!! I've been spinning my wheels trying to figure out what APP or Setting I had messed with that started causing the Call Log to pop-up.. What a Royal Pain in the A..S..S.. it was to unlock the phone and go straight to the call log...

I can also Confirm that Mediaworld360's recommendation has SOLVED my issue also.
