Help Updated to ICS, notifications stop

Please help. I use Go SMS Pro for my texting and Groupme for group messaging. After I updated to ICS, my notifications (sound and icons in the notification bar) from these apps stopped. I only get notifications when these apps are open and running, which wastes a lot of my battery. Anyone having the same problem or know how to fix it?

Did you ever figure this out? I've been having this same problem. I tried using a different texting app and it still happens. Since I upgraded to ICS everything has been a mess on my phone, its so frustrating I'm most likely going to go back to gingerbread.

Nope haven't figured anything out. Pretty annoyed as well.

Have you tried doing a factory reset? I guess I'm going to try that first and see if it fixes anything, before I just go back to gingerbread.
