Help updated to the official ICS , have a question about security

Hello all, I hope everyone is enjoying the new ICS update ,do have couple questions but not sure if anyone is having this issue witht the security ..I tried to look it up but nothing yet..my issue is when I set the face unlock half the time it won't prompt me to unlock my phone with my face unlock ..it promps me the back up which I have a pattern ..at first it was working OK except the timing was a bit off , I set to ask for a passcode to unlock phone after 5 mins but it would always ask it in seconds .. just wondering if anyone had issues similar issues ' I'm running all defaults and haven't downloaded anything additional to cause it to glitch, , thanks again many input would be appreciated ' thanks

The phone will put up the swipe to unlock screen until the time set in "Lock Automatically" hit. The default is 5 minutes, so until 5 minutes goes by, it will let you unlock by swipe. There is a lock when power key, that should automatically lock the phone, but if you let the screen turn itself off, it will wait the 5 minutes. If you want it to always require face unlock, change auto lock to like 5 or 15 seconds (you will want a small delay)

At least that is how it should work
