Now you have three choices... all tested ok.

B) arcMedia Player
C) Vplayer Advanced

Here is how you can watch videos without the need to convert to the required

Step 1B: Download & Install - arcMedia Player v0.34b
arcMedia Player v0.34b
Step 1C: Download & Install - vPlayer Advanced
vPlayer Advanced v1.0.2 [updated to support Gingerbread 2.3] - download from Android Market
Step 2a: Mount SD Card and create a video folder in root
Step 2b: Copy your videos to the <Video> folder
Step 3: Unmount the SD Card
Step 4: Launch media player - Scan for Videos using <Refresh>
Step 5: Select the video you want to watch...
Notes:
1) You really need JIT [but its ok if you don't]
2) You are going to need a big 16/32GB SD card
to fully enjoy this app.
enjoy/cheers
