Updates for existing ICS users

For those of you on Ice Cream Sandwich, (ICS), already, it might be worth your while connecting to Kies to see if there has been an update for your ICS firmware.

A number of CSC codes are receiving upgrades to their original ICS releases, some are on their second update, and these bring improvements to earlier releases.

To locate your CSC code, see post #1, here.

Some of the CSC codes to receive new ICS updates are mentioned here and here.

Please DO NOT post asking me if your particular phone is eligible for a new ICS update. Just connect to Kies or use the method described under, "My firmware is not eligible for ICS yet but I want it now!", here, to check at SamMobile.

More updates for existing ICS users have been released.

Some CSC codes are now on their third update.

Newer ICS firmware codes are LPW and then, starting the alphabet again, LPD, LPE and LPF.

I have been using LPF for 3 days and I must say that it offers a lot of improvements. Very fast, stable, no lags or freezes. Battery friendly and excellent camera. Strong data and Wi-Fi signals on the modem, LPX, that comes with the ROM.

LPG, ICS firmware for Nordic Countries, unbranded, has just been released for CSC code NEE.

This, I believe is their third or fourth ICS update!

Up until 48 hours ago, this was the releases for ICS to-date.

(The above contains updates to previously released ICS firmware)

However, that has all changed with the release of a further 21 updates to ICS on the GT-i9100 model. No changes for the G, M, P or T I'm afraid.
