Root Updating su Binary?

Alright, so...

When I rooted my stock 2.2 phone using EasyRoot, very first time I opened Super User Permissions (and, btw, I notice the app is different, it now looks like a pirate skull instead of a ninja as it did on 2.1), it said something about my su binary being out of date and that I should get the current one. It didn't mention how, and that message has never shown up again.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Some of my apps that need root aren't working, as well, such as ShootMe - despite me giving it root permission it still fails to start which was not a problem before.

Have you tried to open the Superuser app and choose "preference" and go to the bottom to find "Su binary (Tap to check for updates)?
Good Luck.
