Updating to Froyo from JF6

I was wondering if it would cause any problems to update to 2.2 via Kies from JF6 firmware, as opposed to JH7.

Wierd, I couldn't I have to update to JH7 OTA firmware with clockworkmod.
Trying to upgrade directly from JF6 kept coming back with your phone cannot be upgraded.
