I'm trying to update to the newest version of Android that my Galaxy Ace 2 X can handle. Link and a how to would be lovely. I am a technoid but my phone's newer and keeps saying it's to the newest version.
It says 4.0.4 but there's no changes/updates to anything on my cell. Was it's purely a update to the background system?

Yep. You updated to a more stable version of the ICS firmware.
