Root updating to the latest

I want to update to the latest updates and go with gingerbread.
Right now I'm running liberty 1.5 and android 2.2.1
What all do I need to do to update? I'm kinda lost its been a while

Your going to have to SBF back then root again, get D2 bootsrapper (DX bootstrapper doesn't work with GB), then apply the two part update found here:
