If I upgrade to another radio on my htc evo 4g would my signal get better and my battery would last longer? Also by me updating my radio would it unflash my phone and it won't work on boost mobile no more?

well your radios would be different as you are flashed to boost. either way though flashing newer radios may or may not change your signal strength or battery life. i have seen reports from members that it does not do anything, and also for some it made it worse, or nothing at all changed.
for me i had 0 change as far as signal and battery life.
if you do plan on upgrading your radios then make sure that you have at least one nandroid backup with wimax backed up. keep that one safe on your computer. there is a very small chance that you could loose your wimax keys (4g) not that it matters much in the near future with lte rolling in soon.
also make sure that whatever you do DO NOT PULL THE BATTERY OUT while it is installing the radios. that is a sure way to brick your phone.
again i have no idea how this will affect your boost flash though. maybe someone else can chime in.
