Root Updating ZVD problem...

I've tried to update my esteem through the update tool but it won't recognize it? I've tried on two different computers, windows vista 64bit, and windows 7 64 bit, they both open the esteem as usb mass but the tool won't recognize the phone. I'm going to try on windows xp hopefully that does it. My question is, if there is another way to update the phone to ZVD at the moment?

Phone is rooted, ZVB with rom LDK-ICK v1.3

I've tried using two other cables but they both didn't work. Only the esteems' cable seems to get it into usb mass. The phone has no ext. Sd and its in debugging mode.... Unless I have to turn it off? Anyway, any ideas would be much appreciated... I'm still at work so I'll get back to you guys later when I've tried everything, hopefully something works. thanks!

Internet Connection Mode is required for the Tool to recognize the device.

Seems to me like you do not have all the drivers properly installed...everything is right here:http://androidforums.com/esteem-all...onfirmed-roms-kernels-themes.html#post4047405

good news got it to update and now have it debloated, problem?

Well I never put it in internet connection... The guide never said anything about putting it in connection mode and only said to plug in phone but alas it worked after taking Epaynes' simple advice, thank you for trying to help gbig..
