hey guys
i have a quick few questions
i have rooted my phone and cwm manger v2.0 on it . i checked my phone today and samsung are saying there is an update for my phone is it safe to do so or will i lose my root ? .. or am i better off trying a new rom ? . i have downloaded LeoMar75_Revolution_Rom_v2_7_XXKI3 as from reading here people say its a good one to use . but i cant really find out how i go about flashing using cwm manger . can this be done if not how do i go about doing it

Ignore Kies mate . Flash updates through Odin only from now on. :) Flashing official would indeed lose your root.

As for a new ROM then you'd be better off upgrading to CheckROM revolution HD 3.1.1. running on KJ3
 
thanks have done ... now running revolutionHd with hardcore@speedmod kernel . will play round with it for a week or so and then maybe try Dlev ROM3 now im startin to get the hang of things . just need to figure out how to use jkay as its on my phone but cant anything to work :S... im guessing its because im running kj3
