Help upgrade android version from 3.2.1

Hello guys, I really need your help, somebody gave me a HTC flyer tablet that has not been used in like 1 or 2 years and when I tried to download apps I got an error. I have tried everything that I have read in android forums for this problem including a factory reset and i think I came to the conclusion that maybe the android version is too old, it currently has a 3.2.1 and I can't find the way to update it to a recent version. Please help

Tbh I don't think you'll find an update for that tablet (3.x.x is Honeycomb isn't it) a bit of an Android failure I'm afraid.
You could search the site XDA for a custom rom but I'm doubtful I'm afraid :(

You may find specific apps which aren't supported by that OS version, but many should still be (though as Honeycomb was tablet-only it may be less supported than even Gingerbread, which is older). So if you can't install any apps then that suggests it's not the OS version that's the problem.

If you told us what the error was we might be able to suggest something.

As Funky says, you are probably out of luck with OS updates unless someone made a custom ROM. Android (like any mobile OS) always has to be built for the specific device, so if you are on the latest that HTC provided (i.e. Settings > About > Software updates doesn't find anything) then you aren't going to be able to find an official update from anywhere else.
