Root Upgrade sd card with link2sd sd-ext partition up and running

Hello...

I have link2sd running on my phone, with a 400mb sd-ext partition. The problem is i am running out of space on the normal data partition and would like to upgrade my card and getting one with a higher class as well.

How do i go about it? Searching on the web has turned up rather vague instructions and i would not like to ruin my presently superbly running phone.

I have made regular nandroid backups and have titanium backup pro edition installed if these should come in handy.
Some help please :)

Thank you.

I'm not sure if this is the same solution but the official link2SD faq has a nice little detailed explaination:

Q. I upgraded/changed my ROM and I can not see my linked apps, their files are on the 2nd partition but the system can not see the apps. How can I make them available, do I need to reinstall and relink them again?
No, if you didn't wipe data when updating ROM the only thing you need to do is to run "Recreate mount scripts" from "menu -> more" within Link2SD and do a normal (not quick) reboot.
If you wiped data, after executing "Recreate mount scripts" and rebooting, run "Relink all application files" from "menu -> more" and then reboot. All of your linked apps should be available again after reboot.

If you also wiped dalvik-cache, in addition to the above step run "Link dalvik-cache files".

Caro332 thanks mate but that's a different (opposite) solution wherein the ROM changes but the SD card remains the same, in my case its the SD card which has to be changed keeping the ROM same.

Well, i did it... was as simple as setting up the new card's ext partition, copying the normal partition's data and restoring the apps via titanium backup pro.

However, it was made a bit painful thanks to tbp hanging after restoring every single app so had to restore apps one at a time (55 in total).

Loving the class 10 card's speed and 16gigs :D

Yeah I would get the same problem. It would hang after a few....But I noticed that it would hang more often if I kept on clearing the notifications. If I leave that for the end, it wouldn't freeze so much
