I just bought a Droidx it has the 2 gb sd card. So I would like to know if I could just swap sd cards. Can this be done? Is it just a matter of just swaping cards or is there more I would need to do.

Also I know my contacts will stay with my gmail account. But is there anything else I am missing?

Wont hurt a thing to stick your OD Droid SDcard in you X, just far the sake of doing it, ya might want tot back it up and reformat it just so you have a clean start. but its not needed.

Formatting any SD card from within the phone (Settings-> SD Card and Phone storage -> Unmount SD card then Format SD card) is recommended, just because each phone formats things in a slightly different way (usually). This will make sure you don't get any wonky performance from the card. You should obviously make a backup of any pictures or videos or music or downloads or whatever you have on the card that you want to keep, first.

For some reason I thought that the droid didnt have any internal memory and that if I took it out it would be missing something.

I was going to sell the droid but now I am just thinking I will hang on to it. I will most likely never use it again but I just cant see myself selling it.
