Root Upgrade to 2.3 even if rooted?

I am rooted with 2.2.1 with a custom rom when 2.3 releases will I get it or do I have to unroot in order to get the update?

If an official release comes along you will have to return to stock. They will more than likely push it through their LG Updater desktop software. It did an in-place update from 2.2 to 2.2.1, but that's on a stock phone. It probably depends on certain files being where they're supposed to be while user files are left intact.
