Help upgrade to marshmallow

Guys, is it possible for me to update my phone to marshmallow, even though the there is no system update for my phone. I need it to test my product.
If yes, then how?
if not, then how can i test the product?

FYI some nexus models will get it ota in October. Perhaps someone will grab the stream and use that as the basis for a custom ROM. Keep checking out xda developers. What device do you have?

If you really need to test software on the newest Android versions before they're officially released, get a nexus. There's no other way.

Hey ermayank89, if you want to test Android M on your device, the device must be Nexus 5,6,9.
