Help Upgraded & now Android Market wont load

I upgraded to the HTC Desire from the dreadful LG GT540 today & am very happy all in all except when I click the Android market place it wont load, I wondered if it was a temp problem so went to install via USB but it wouldnt download to my phone....

Any ideas?

Try going to settings/applications/manage applications/all/market and clear the cache and data if you can.
