Upgraded to ICs now not rooted?

Ive just upgraded to ICS with Odin. But now my phone appears to have been un-rooted and kies installed. Do i need to re-root the phone now?

That is because the stock firmware you used to update contains a stock, unrooted, kernel. You will need to re-root I'm afraid.

Ive looked through the various pages....am i correct in saying that if i use Siyah-S2-v5.0.1.tar in odin it will root my phone?

Yes it should, you will see Stweaks (kernel configurator that requires root) and SuperSU (root access manager) apps installed by default... if you can run these apps with no issues after flashing Siyah 5.0.1, your phone's successfully rooted.
