Upgrading from Xperia Pro.. help choosing please

It's currently between a Note 2, Galaxy S4, & the Xperia Z (any others worth considering?)
The Note's probably the frontrunner atm, simply because of the screen real estate.. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback from people that own any of these devices.
I'll probably be looking to root (& possibly overclock) at some point, battery life is also a consideration as I'm out & about for long periods.
Main uses after phone/text will be Multimedia, gaming & light web browsing.

Another to be considered would be the HTC one... <---that's what I would go with as well.

Or Nexus4. Still the most pure Android experience, and probably the most future-proof phone Currently available.
