Hey guys just wondering how I would go about upgrading to leedriod 6 on my DHD I'm currently running leedriod 3.. I guess what I want to know is how to do it and will I have to wipe my phone again ?? I installed lee Droid 3 with the EXT 4 Wipe so I've already done that. I also flashed the radio. Also any good feedback with 6 ?

Thanks for your time guys much appreciated :)

Generally, if you're going from one version of a ROM to another, it doesn't need a wipe. However, LeeDroid 4.0 is Sense 3.0 and a new base so I'm not entirely sure.

Certainly there's no harm in wiping before hand, all your apps etc should be backed up with Titanium anyway.

No worries ill check it out. I seem to be loosing a lot of battery life lately anyway so a good clean up and wipr is probably a good idea I guess....

Using the LeeDroid thread, check the MD5 with this. Then place the LeeDroid 4.0 zip on the SD Card and flash as you would a normal ROM. If you're going from 3.3 > 4, I'm not sure if a full wipe will be required, but there's no harm in doing in anyway. Obviously just make sure you take a backup before you do anything.

I think there have been issues with the USB connectivity on the default LeeDroid kernel in 4.0. Sorted by flashing LorDmods Sense kernel. Download the zip, place it on the root of your SD Card, boot into CWM, backup then flash the zip as you would a ROM. There's no need for any sort of wipe when flashing a kernel.

so i am to check the md5 file and then i place that on the sd card along with the zip file reboot into recovery and flash rom correct?
