Upgrading - paid programs? Am I screwed?

I purchased 360 camera and SoundHound on my Aria. Is there a way of moving those licenses over to the Captivate, or do I have to buy them again? If so, I'm going to be very hesitant to buy more programs and games because what happens if you crash?

If you got them from the Market, no worries. If you had to side-load them, you might be temporarily hosed.

Marketplace. Are they tied to my telephone number? How do I go about applying my pay-fors?

They're tied to your Google account. They will show up under Downloads as "purchased", click on them and click "Install", and you're done.
