Upgrading to Razr Maxx HD from Razr M?

So I have the Droid Razr M right now, but I'm a really heavy user of the phone and the battery life isn't really doing it for me. It hardly lasts me a full day of use, requiring me to charge it at least a minimum of twice a day. I was thinking about upgrading to the Droid Razr Maxx HD, but I was also looking at the Samsung Galaxy S4. I know the Maxx HD has a bigger battery, but is the battery on the S4 going to be close to as good? I'm not sure whether to go with the S4 or Maxx HD, it seems the Maxx HD has been out for a while now, any "thoughts" on how long Motorola will support the HD/Maxx HD? Seems like the ideal phone to upgrade to but that's a determining factor.

I have the droid RAZR M too. In my opinion I would upgrade to the droid RAZR Maxx HD instead of the S4 because of durability and battery but it also depends what you want in a phone. I think droid RAZR MAXX HD has performance and durability and the S4 has pretty impressive hardware too but for me its the durability of the S4. The S4 is plastic but it all depends what you want.

Maybe its just me, but I don't consider going from the M to the MAXX, an upgrade. Unless you're just referring to the battery.

I know there isn't really many differences between the M and the Maxx HD but I love my M and i just want the improved battery life of the Maxx HD

I haven't heard much about the Motorola X, isn't it only a rumor at this point? Even if it exists I doubt the battery would be big as the Maxx battery, and that's been my biggest concern with the Razr M.

I think the only way the Maxx will be an improvement in battery life is if you use it without the screen on mostly: music, etc.
With the screen on, the battery life is about the same from what I've read.
