Help uploads disabled- working as intended?

I noticed that i can not upload files to websites. For example job
sites where you can click on a button to upload a resume. The button just states uploads disabled. Is this normal?

Yes it is. There was a url here (somewhere) to vote on having this fixed.

I think that's pretty normal on a mobile phone. There are a lot of features on websites that just don't work like they do on a phone. Phones just don't have all the things required to do all that. We're getting closer with flash though. Still some things are java and other technologies that phones don't have.

Bzzt. Wrong, this is an old issue, google for some reason does not want people uploading files from browsers.
