uploads disabled

I searched and have seen people make comments about not being able to upload, are we missing something? Is there a setting we haven't found, or is this a Droid doesn't? Seems like something we should be able to do.

No I am talking about uploading files from my phone to a website like lets say this forum. If I want to upload a screenshot I have to move it from my phone to a computer and then upload it. To me it is irritating when I can do so much with this phone but not something as simple as upload a pic via browser.

This was omitted from Android for some inexplicable reason. It's not a wrong setting or a bug, but an outright omission. Here is a thread about it from the Android development forum:

Issue 2519 - android - Browser should support file uploads (input type="file") - Project Hosting on Google Code

EDIT: Apparently Opera Mini supports uploads - if you can stand to use it!
