Root Uprooting Phone

So i get home from work and my phone is off. I turn the phone off and it turned up but kept turning off. It did this about 6 times. Well now the home button doesn't work at all but the phone still does. I have already check the flex cable and it it connected. Does anyone know a way to go into download mode without using the home button. I am going to unroot the phone and take it to sprint and have them fix it. Also would a water damaged battery mess up the phone? i lost the original battery some how and i took my friends old one. Please can someone help me out i really need this fix.

Is there any way to unroot my phone without a pc?? Every time i put it in download mode it just reboots it self. My power button has gone out and i need to get it fix. i have already took the phone apart and made sure everything is connected and everything looks fine. can someone please help me.

Unfortunately pc odin is needed to unroot, sorry to say.
