I'm so jealous... someone I work with who has the Nexus One (T-Mobile, though)now has the UrbanSpoon app. Apparently it hit the 2.0/2.1 market today, so even Droid (Motorola) has it.

I know this will become moot when (if) we are upgraded to 2.x, but this is one app. I want bad enough that I actually wrote UrbanSpoon.com requesting this app for the Android market several weeks ago. I even "reminded" them to not forget about the 1.5 market.

Man, I want this app.

We should have it soon. I want it too. I started bugging them about it back in August, before I even had an Android device.:D

It is more of a "we have no idea where to eat tonight" app. It is pretty cool. We use it on my friend's iPhone all the time. It was one of the only reasons I actually liked her iPhone.

I can just see the looks now as I'm shaking the crap out of my phone because I don't like the suggestions it's giving me :D
 
this is one of the reasons i joined this forum. my bro got the big droid and i got the eris and his has urbanspoon and mine doesn't. i'm so bummed. will we ever get it? is there something similar?

We will get it when we have the 2.1 OS. Should be in the next few weeks. The only other app I can think of right now is Food Finder, but it doesn't have the slot machine coolness that Urbanspoon does.
