URG help needed please guys!!!

My htc desire just crashed. Stays on the white HTC logo screen will not boot past it (have left for half hour) device has not been rotted but do have the standard HTC 2.2 froyo rom to flash if needed however...

device will boot to loader screen but will not clear storage or recovery.
plugged into my Netbook adn android 1.0 is found.
used ADB drivers and pc does detect it, no light reponse from desire.
Run rom wizard and says not plugged in but still shows in device manager.

How can i get past this? if need to flash then how do i force it to do this??

You can run an RUU from fastboot (back + power from Off).

But what happens when you get into recovery?

wont do it in fast boot , again RUU when ran says device not plugged in.
In recovery device jumps to white screen and locks, same thing

Which RUU have you got? You can make it into or download the same version as PB99IMG.zip and put on sd card... you'll need a card reader. Then boot into hboot and it should install it

you guys really are the best in the business it is now flashing i forgot to put in my gold card lol

It should come up with an error carrier id if the gold card wasn't in. Usb connection would be error 170 I think
