Urgent Help Pls---Can't Update Firmware / Firmware Update stop working

i connect samsung S2 via Kies and a pop up msg show gt latest firmware is available for update.so i follow step by step back up my data and proceed for update.however, a error msg pop out said that firmware update stop working.so sad.can any1 pls help.

Not sure what's the problem. Last time when I tried upgrade at home, it stop halfway. When I upgrade at work, it went through fine. The difference then was that the connection at work place is faster than at home.

It is possible its due to internet speed, or where ever you are downloading from have a firewall that prevents the download.

I too am having the same problem.
My Samsung Tablet 10?, model GT-P5113, keeps prompting me to install the update, and when I try, it seems to install; it goes thru the reboot, but then pops a screen that the firmware update failed. It's currently running Android version 4.2.2 with Kernal 3.0.31-1261897.
Everything seems to work, but the constant software update message is getting old.
Any help appreciated.
