Hi everybody, i have a middle-eastern desire, and till now there is no OTA update to 2.2 available, and i cant wait to get 2.2, so i searched and found this guide
[ROM] Official HTC FROYO Android 2.2 FILE for Manual Update via HTC SYNC (OTA file) - xda-developers
my questions are:
1) will this procedure work hassle free for my desire? here are my SW versions:
Firmware Version: 2.1-update1
Baseband: 32.41.00.32U_4.08.00.09
Kernel: 2.6.29-3dfdf77a
htc-kernel@and18-2#1
Build: 1.30.415.3 CL208260 release-keys
SW number: 1.30.415.3
Browser : Webkit 3.1
2) Do I need a goldcard for this?
3)If anything goes wrong can i go back??
