Help Urgent Help!

Okay,so today I was playing around on my phone when suddenly it dies. Turnit on and everythingisgone. Thankfully, its rooted and I made a backup about a week ago. Because I didn't have the clockworkmod app, decided to just boot into it using the power button. And volume down key. Takes me to HBoot and the first thing I see is the famous GingerBreak android skateboard image on the bottom of the screen. Freaking out right now. Does this mean that my device is infected? And if so, how to get rid of it? Any and all help is appreciated, seeing as I'm new here. I shall attach a picture soon, just a little afraid to go back into hboot.

To perform a Hard Reset on your device: With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
Wait for the screen with the 3 Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
Press VOLUME DOWN to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER.
Press VOLUME UP to start the factory reset.
