Root Urgent... Please help me!!!!!

Hello everyone. Im kinda new here but pleaseee can you,help me out...
I was trying to upgrade the firmware on my galaxy s to 2.2
But accidentally I unplugged my phone from my computer(vista)...
An scv I cant get it into recovery mode... It wont even turn off.... All I see is a picture of a small computer and a small phone with a yellow caution sign in between...
Can ANYONE PLEASEEE HELPPP??????????

Hello dj.

Have you tried removing the battery, putting it back in, then hold down the volume down button, power and home button until the galaxy s pops up, then let go of all buttons then press them all again quickly and hold?

That should invoke recovery in the Galaxy S.
