My GT-N7105T running on the Telstra Network in Australia is currently unusable due to a problem with the software after flashing a custom rom :(, I have taken my phone back to the stock rom using sam mobile but this was all to no avail. I am willing to supply any information needed in relation to the fixing of my phone, please help!

Hello and welcome to the forums . all you had to do was edit the build.prop for data which rom

Thanks for replying, :) I am not to sure how to do this as i am not experienced but my phone is currently running the N7105TDVUEMK2_N7105TTELEMK3_N7105TDVUEMK3_HOME.tar.md5 rom for SAM firmwares

Could you please help me in fixing my phone as i am inexperienced and do not know what to edit in build.prop or how to edit it thanks in advance.

To edit or change anything on a build dot prop file just follow this thread

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2503997

Also be sure to use this app its the best and every root user must have its simple user friendly and its called

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer <--------- App

I would advise you that the free app isn't like the paid app you ask me why I never had the free app feel free to try the free if you like the next step is to purchase the app from any android app market such as Google play store . here is a video about the app to see before you start anything

I can't tell you what to edit cause of the following

* you haven't provided the forum with any ROM you want to run

* you didn't say or show the forum the custom rom build dot prop file is aka tell us where the zip file is or the NAME of the zp

Feel free to post where the zip file is and I or anyone can edit what you need and have you on your way with a working device .

:car:

If this ROM don't work you have the wrong firmware . I should not have to do anything to a stock ROM it just do its own thing. When I say custom rom I am speaking of something such as cyanogenmod , pacman ,mokee etc . this is stock if stock don't work you have the wrong one.

Can I ask if your rooted and running stock ROM and rooted do you know how to edit APN . if so this is what the APN should look like if not feel free to edit as you feel

Step #1

I want to flash cyanogen on my phone would you be able to edit that, So I can flash it and have a working mobile network? Thank again! Also my device doesn't allow me to edit these properties and it states that there is no sim card inserted when there is.

This is a known working KitKat 4.4.4 its a nightly

This is the cyanogenmod ROM you asked for . just tap on the blue typing and it will began to download. You can use the same gapps with this.

I tried to flash both Slim Rom and cyanogenmod only to find the phone is stuck at booting for example after flashing Slimkat i found that my phone would become stuck on the flashing Slimkat logo, what is the solution to this?
I tried both cyanogenmod and slimkat and both resulted in the same thing.
I used clockwork mod to flash and formated /system as well as performing a factory reset and clearing the cache.

Doesn't work either :( same problem. The only rom the works is stock rom and variations of the stock rom (TEL, XSA, Different versions of android) and when i flash them i find that there is an unknown baseband and my sim doesn't work
