Root US Cellular's htc droid desire

Has anybody posted instructions on "Rooting" the htc desire being sold by USCELLULAR? I want to root mine and have been reading various threads on rooting various phones, but have yet to find one specifically geared to the uscc desire. Maybe it doesn't really matter as to carrier. Would appreciate some input.

used this tutorial on the XDA forums for mine a few days ago. works well as long as you skip step 3

I rooted my USCC Desire a couple weeks ago. It worked perfectly using this guide:
How To: Root the HTC Desire (Unrevoked Method) | TheUnlockr
The carrier does not matter by the way
